How the characters on the TV show LOST crossed paths before the island
Published on March 13, 2005 By russellmz2 In Entertainment

Chart lists which characters managed to cross paths before they were on the island. Weak lines represent weak links. For example Kate and Locke heard of Charlie's band (as no doubt thousands of others did), Jin saw Hurley on TV briefly (as did thousands of others).

A few obscure links that I picked up from various forums like TelevisionWithoutPity.com:
  • Hurley was on the TV when Jin paid his visit to the Korean minister's home
  • Hurley owns Locke's box company
  • The Lotto Number Calling Girl was Sawyer's one night stand (and the actor who plays Michael's real-life wife)
  • The Driveshaft song was played on an episode of Alias, which is produced by LOST's creator as well
  • If anyone has other links or see errors, feel free to post in the comments.

I ignored a few obvious ones like Jin standing behind Jack while he was trying to get his father's coffin on the plane.

yeah, um...I don't watch the show...but I had to say that the other day a friend and I wandered onto the set on accident...there was a big sign on the side of the road that said "Base Camp" in big red letters with an arrow....we turned and followed the arrow out of curiosity and the guy that was supposed to be guarding was eating his lunch and just waved to us so we kept driving until we got all the way down the road to where the set was...hahaha...and a guy there stopped us and told us that the guy at the beginning had to radio to him giving us approval to be there...which he hadn't done...so we had to turn around...and then as we were driving out the guy who had been eating his lunch gave us the evil eye and puffed up at us...a big Samoan dude...scary...anyways...there's really no point to this...I apologize...hahahaha
