::::Fri Aug 12, 2005 3:52 am Sniff...Consumer Scared single mom here. I just left a secured warehouse in Old Arkham. Nothing useful in there, the old crates were empty. I found my old aaa map earlier and have a cell phone but it keeps saying, "OUT OF SERVICE AREA - ROAMING." Now I'm in St. Luke's hospital. Some vandals have spraypainted "all hail the crimson king." On a hospital in the middle of a crisis! There are lots of people here, though. Thank goodness. Two zombies outside. I d...
Chart lists which characters managed to cross paths before they were on the island. Weak lines represent weak links. For example Kate and Locke heard of Charlie's band (as no doubt thousands of others did), Jin saw Hurley on TV briefly (as did thousands of others). A few obscure links that I picked up from various forums like TelevisionWithoutPity.com : Hurley was on the TV when Jin paid his visit to the Korean minister's home Hurley owns Locke's box company The Lotto Number Calli...

Saw this lying around in Best Buy after Christmas. Forty bucks for 16,000 pages worth of Amazing Spider-Man comics in PDF format (although it includes adverts). Everything looks pretty good, my only regret is that I bought the first 10-issue Spider-Man collection on CD months ago. Guess I can give that one away. Other reviews complain that there is some crinkling at the edges and yellowing of pages in some of the older issues, but who cares? Everything is highly legible so far. The only...
Been playing around with Gmail. You can't just subscribe, someone has to invite you to get an account. Often you see forums with someone offering or begging for a Gmail account. Don't bother asking me, I gave away most to friends and family and gave one to a random guy on a forum. Accounts are very in demand since the people at Google are the ones who created Gmail. They offer a gig of free space. This was the main reason that most free email accounts increased their account size limits ...
Books for Soldiers.com This is a great idea for a site! Right now they are in the middle of a forum re-shuffle, but their We Have Books & DVDs Ready To Ship! forum is open. It is recommended you read their help forum first. They have a lot of rules protecting the privacy of military guys who want some reading material and to make sure packages mailing go smoothly. You must register a forum account before you can see that forum and help out. Getting Started on BFS (a few tips and ...
My blog is number 9 under "Top Blogs". What happened exactly? Can someone tell me what I did, so I can try to do it again? Or at least show me what made my blog popular?
The Senator from Wisconsin cannot frighten me by exclaiming, “My country, right or wrong.” In one sense I say so too. My country; and my country is the great American Republic. My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right. -Carl Schurz imajinit's challenge I’m calling out all of you that don’t agree with the war in Iraq. All of you Liberals that don’t think that war is necessary, let me ask you a few questions… ...
I made this whole big article but then CNN put the transcipt up. Skip my longass summary crap below and just click the link below to read it!! CNN Transcript It's awesome stuff. CLICK THE LINK M'F--KERs!!!!! YOU ALREADY GOT THIS FAR...er, please? (Single quotes mean I am paraphrasing, I had it recorded but I didn't take it down word for word.) It started funny enough off. In the first segment Tucker Carlson (from the Right) and Paul Begala (from the Left) went after each...
Saw it on C-SPAN, split screen the whole way. Was it like that on the other channels? Kerry did well. As mentioned above, Bush drained two or three glasses of water. Kerry, one sip I think. They had different glasses for some reason. Bush had a normal looking one, Kerry had a fancier one with a stem. Kerry made Bush chuckle once, Bush made Kerry smile a few times. I think Kerry made the audience laugh once (making them violate the rule that the audience be totally silent). Kerry made me...
A repost of my critique of a BS email posted on another forum. Although it was just a summary of all the false accusations leveled against Kerry and that I often rebutted before and had numerous sources, it was so long and took so much effort to list and prove them false or unimportant, I decided it was worth reposting here. The email was a job application that had kerry listing his qualifications and record. from the BS email : ...voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA and defens...
A critique of an article by Draginol. Overwhelmingly, they reject him. Described variously as a glory hound, he apparently took a home movie camera with him in which he reinacted various events in front of the camera in an effort to glorify what he did. You do know that the head of the group didn't serve with Kerry, right? That he was on the boat, AFTER Kerry left. You do know that this, right? I don't know enough on this to know how much of it is usual political propaganda or not. ....
